Vitamin water is definitely one of my favorite drinks in the world. Recently, a new generation of vitamin water was released which only has 10 calories in each serving. How much goodness can you really fit in the tight 10 calories?
Every other Sunday, I volunteer at the hospital. While on my break I wandered through the snack bar and stumbled upon the new vitamin water. Simultaneously assuming that it would taste the same and being curious about it, I payed the $2.00 for the drink and returned to my shift. After taking the top off of the bottle, I sipped my first slurp of the blueberry-pomegranate drink I had chosen. Only one thought came to my mind: "Is this really vitamin water?" I did not like it at all. The normal vitamin water exploded with flavor as soon as it touched my taste buds as opposed to this drink which seemed empty (hence the picture). Though the regular drink is saturated with sugar, it is also filled with flavor, making it worth drinking. If you are on a diet and absolutely must drink vitamin water, then I guess 10 calorie one is okay. So pick your poison, because both have both pros and cons going for it.
